This processing serves the technical provision and security of the website and is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
This website has no contact form. If you write to me by email or call me, the details you provide — your name, your email address or telephone number and the content of your message — are used solely to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. I delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
For booking calls I use the appointment booking function of Google Calendar, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you click the booking link you leave this website and open a page operated by Google. Your IP address and the details you enter in the booking form (name, email address and any notes) are processed by Google and passed on to me. A transfer to the USA cannot be excluded.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Information on Google's data processing is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
This website loads fonts through the Google Fonts service (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When a page is opened, your browser loads the font files from Google's servers, and your IP address is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of the website. No cookies are set in this process.
I use the Umami service to understand how this website is used. Umami works without cookies and without identifiers that would recognise you; it records only aggregated information such as the pages opened, the approximate region, the referring website and the type of device and browser. IP addresses are not stored. No personal profile is created and your behaviour is not tracked across other websites. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in data-minimising statistical analysis.
This website links to my LinkedIn profile. It is a plain link: no LinkedIn content is embedded and no data is transmitted to LinkedIn unless you click the link.
This website sets no cookies and uses no techniques that would recognise visitors.
